- Started a printing business in 1961 which after 45 years has been taken over by my son. Been very involved in the Australian society and also very involved with the Dutch community.

- Playing Bridge also play some Klaverjas.

- Vice Chairman Federation of Netherlands Societies. Board member of the Queem Wilhelmina Benavolent Fund.
