Thanks the About Me information Bert.
By 1970 I had been teaching primary school, for 6 years and was at my favourite school, Mascot.
I mention this because I next transferred to Busby West P.S., as Deputy Master and was very conscious of how we were in the Whitlam Years.
There was money for excursions and other activities, helping to make those interesting years.
A sea-change is STILL on the back-burner for me. And, as I am about to turn 66, having a third go at getting to the coast is getting a little slimmer.
Greetings from Sydney and welkom!!
Joop

About Me:
Hello everyone, when I arrived in Australia, Gough Whitlam was still two years in the making as prime minister and when I went for my first visit back to Holland in 1978 the cultural landscape was changing rapidly.
I have always been involved in the communication industry first in pr and advertising but mostly as a reporter and writer. I have lived mainly in Melbourne, but my partner and I did a sea-change to Venus Bay, where we still have a holiday. We live in Leongatha, where I work for the Great Southern Star and Lerida is a dance school administrator.
I'd love to hear from anyone who might know me and perhaps catch up some time.
Regards,
Bert.
My interests:

My connection with the Netherlands:
